I'm reading this article and trying, still, to understand what has and what continues, to motivate Government Soldiers to defy the Constitution of Fiji, their individual Oath under that same Constitution and the very people they are sworn to protect.
The only things I can think of are these ;-
1/ that the serving Military believe everything Frank Bainimarama has told them
or
2/ they need money to feed their families.
Sadly though, both reasons are misguided as Frank himself is breaking so many Laws as well as committing High Treason and Fijian Society is being destroyed along with it's culture, lifestyle and children's future prospects.
The question remains still, what else must happen before Fijians snap out of their slumber and stand up for what is rightfully theirs ?
