Roko Ului to attend Fiji Pro Democracy rally

Roko Ului Mara have stated that he will be in Australia this month of June to attend the Fiji pro-democracy movement conference organised by former Fiji resident who now live in Australia.

The conference will be held in Canberra and Ului is expected to be one of its key speakers.

It’s an event that is sure to attract lots of media attention with Ului’s presence and will jolt Frank Bainimarama’s weakening junta with more expose` on their corruptive practices to be revealed by Roko Ului.

Australia’s Foreign Affairs Minister, Kevin Rudd, also told the media that he is expecting Roko Ului Mara to visit their shores soon, which means that Australia have also embraced Ului’s efforts to return Fiji back to democracy with his truth-telling.

Sources say Frank Bainimarama is seething over his first lady’s decision to fly to Tonga while he faced a barrage of damaging reports thrown at him from that island kingdom by Koila’s brother, Lt Col Ului Mara, who absconded to Tonga some weeks ago to avoid unfair trial for trumped up charges levelled at him by his ex-boss, Frank.
These sources say Koila’s trip to Tonga is a big diplomatic slap on the dictator’s face whose extradition papers for her younger sibling, Ului, touched down in Tonga almost at the same time as Koila’s arrival.

Koila has indirectly shown Frank that she is more powerful than he is and that he simply can not stop her from seeing his brother as and when she wants to.

The iron lady of Fiji’s white house is flexing her muscles and not even Frank can do anything about it, nor her husband Epeli Nailatikau.

With her law background and Machiavellian ways her family is renowned for, we won’t be surprised that it is she who’se helping mastermind her brother and her husband’s next move

Roko Ului Mara name Nazhat Shameem as Frank Bainimarama’s legal advisor

Roko Ului Mara has named ex-Judge Nazhat Shameem and Aiyaz Khaiyum as two prominent people who frequented Frank Bainimarama’s home before and after the 2006 coup.

His revelation again reinforces what bloggers have been reporting since the coup – that Nazhat Shameem is a legal schemer for Frank’s regime.Ului is a credible witness and we are very sure that other members of Frank’s initial inner circle, Esala Teleni, Pita Driti, Aziz Mohammed and George Langman will come forward to give their detailed account like Ului.


Meanwhile, Nazhat is said to be worried by Roko Ului’s confession which exposes her as a key person who was aiding and abetting Frank’s coup illegalities from day one.

Rumour has it that she may already be planning her exit to go live with her daughter in England.

Frank Bainimarama wants to be Fiji’s President with absolute powers

A Tongan media outlet has quoted exiled Lt Col Ului Mara saying that Fiji’s tyrant, Frank Bainimarama’s ultimate vision is to install himself as the President of Fiji.

In his interview, Ului said that Frank’s ambition is to impose a new Presidential System in Fiji similar to that adopted in Indonesia.
Our research reveal that “the President of Indonesia is both head of state and head of government and of a multi-party system. He is also the commander-in-chief of the Indonesian armed forces, and responsible for domestic governance, policy-making and foreign affairs. The president and vice president are both selected by the vote of the citizens for a term of five years. Its also the president who heads the United Indonesia Cabinet and elects the council of ministers.”

Many things spring to mind with Ului’s revelation.

1. The goal post for that 2014 election promised by Frank has not only shifted but has been uprooted and replaced by a new goal post all together . Instead of voting for a party with a pre-determined Prime Minister, it will be replaced by a Presidential election. This will mean a complete overhaul of Fiji’s Constitution which Frank is earmarking to happen in 2012. Another round of coerced public consultation will have to take place to try and legitimize their ready-made reviewed Constitution like that ill-conceived “Peoples Charter” that got decapitated by the Appeals Court ruling of its illegality.

2. To effect this Constitutional change, Frank and Aiyaz will again look to their current President Epeli to sign off their new “Political System of Fiji” decree and others.

3. Will Epeli Nailatikau be accepting to sign off on his own removal decree to pave the way for a new and fresh Presidential Election system in Fiji?

4. If Epeli refuses to sign the decree, it means that he wants to remain President until he kicks the bucket or when he’s forcefully removed by other factors he can not control.

5. If Epeli signs the decree, then he is obviously happy with Aiyaz/Frank’s vision to open up Fiji’s President’s role to all Fijians and to lend a hand in further weakening the Great Council of Chiefs indigenous Fijian structure outlined in Aiyaz’s “Sunset Clause for the Indigenous Fijian Race” Masters Degree thesis. We doubt he stands a chance in winning the Presidential race if he’s stupid enough to make a run for it. Which means that he will be quite happy to make a sweet-heart pay-out deal with Aiyaz and Frank for his services to them before he retires.

6. Frank is already campaigning for his President candidacy and is also digging deep into the public coffers he controls as Minister Finance to fund his campaign. Quite ironic that he is now doing exactly what he alleged previous governments to have done in a lead up to a general election. How soon will he allow others to start campaigning?

7. Will Frank win the Presidential election? In his dreams cause we think not! We can confidently say that Frank lack the popular support to get him democratically elected – never was, not now and not in the future.

But with the truth-telling from Ului Mara with other senior military officers expected to also spill the bean soon, we don’t believe Frank will be able to make it to 2014.


He will crumble soon and it’s just a matter of time.

Trumped up Charges by Kaiyum

Frank Bainimarama and Aiyaz Khaiyum still want their President Epeli Nailatikau out

Murmurs from Fiji’s White House is that Frank Bainimarama and Aiyaz are still serious in their endeavor to remove their President Epeli Nailatikau.

Sources say that both Epeli and his wife, Koila Mara, will not relinquish their roles that easily and Koila has been quoted to have said, “over our dead body!”

Such is the tension between the occupants of Fiji’s White House and their Prime Minister and Attorney General and it is only reasonable for Frank to try and down-play his attempts to remove Epeli by denying it all together.
Another occupant of a grand palace in Tonga, Ului Mara, have said that Frank and Aiyaz should be charged for sedition for spreading seditious remarks for their President Epeli to step down.
So where did Ului Mara get that information from?
Being the brother of Fiji’s first lady is a bonus and his inside knowledge of Frank and Aiyaz’s remarks is first-hand information the two partners in crime will find hard to refute.

The sad thing about a report that a student from a Tailevu school has been charged with assaulting a fellow student is that it shows what four years of being run by a bully has done to our country. Might is right is the message our dictator sends out every day. Katalina: About the 1 single and most powerful armory on our side

The God given wrath is cyclone Tomas. All natural disasters are. Everyone knows that. Australia/NZ and individual freedom fighters' response to God given wraths must equal the response to Fijian soldiers wraths.

That the man made disaster dished to Fiji's people is far more devastating has been my case all along yet we don't see ANZ sending choppers and soldiers and we most certainly don't tighten our purse strings : If we did OR now begin to then your days are numbered. We, the freedom loving community for parliamentary democracy living overseas are key to your economic survival or bankruptcy. We get to decide that. We have the collective power to bring you to your knees. Tightening our purse strings is the wisest and most generous act of kindness we, as a people, can combine to save our beloved Fiji and at the same time teach our families that denied monetary gifts for the time being is their part in our struggle to get back our Fiji. They will understand and learn that their involvement is crucial to their long term prosperity. They have to become pro active if not by speaking out then by accepting that the monetary gifts are no longer streaming in. That is the 1 single and most powerful armory on our side.

Peceli Rinakama has been kidnapped by the military and is now in danger to be tortured and murdered as others before him. The question is how much more do we want to take from the dictator? The record of this regime is summarized in the contribution above. It is time to do something.

I suggest that we reassure ourselves by wearing a little blue ribbon in the colour of our beloved flag at our wrists, shirts, in our hair, light blue t-shirts, wherever…So everyone who sees another citizen wearing our national colour knows that they are not alone in their contempt for this regime that tramples on our human rights and ruins the economy of our beloved country. As a next step, we should think creatively how to undermine the dictatorship. Letters and e-mails to the UN (especially to the SG and head of UNDP) to the EU, the OZ, US and NZ governments, the Commonwealth etc will have some impact. Civil servants can through a million of spanners into the works. Let's do it. Legal action can be taken outside Fiji. Crimes against humanity can be prosecuted internationally and Cassava Frank would not be the first dictator being presented an arrest warrant on foreign soil. I understand that there is something in the making in New Zealand to that effect.

Next we should think about action at home. Modern communication technology offers incredible opportunities. Blogging is fine but the internet offers a host of other possibilities, which we need to explore. Imagine we stage a peaceful protest against the GESTAPO methods used by the regime and everyone carries a little camera, phone or otherwise. Everything the dictator does to oppress our human rights would be out on CNN and BBC more or less immediately. At this stage we do not need a leader or a headquarters that can me raided by the goons or a charter. The only thing we need is action in the shadows led by a common goal: to oust the dictator and return Fiji to its people.

The latest bizarre news leaked out of the 'water tight' regime (tche tche)   is a soon to be released decree prohibiting female  government workers from wearing long trousers to work. Obviously given the closed closet known religious background of the author of these decrees, what else do you expect? The only exception we suppose are female soldiers wearing military issue trousers of course. Then again soldiers are above the law! It seems judging from certain decrees such as the decriminalizing of consenting adult same sex, that there is a deep psychological gender crisis being made manifest by the legal author . As if to say, only she, Samimi, wears the pants and the balls to go with  on such highly public controversial issues!  Otherwise for mere female mortals in the service of our glorious most chaste  state- only  salulu  jamba lewa! and  sari betwa with  no midriff or  waistline showing! Next decree- loose sapo for all male government workers!  COMMENTS

The people of Fiji wanted an IMMEDIATE END to military Dictatorship by Senijiale

AMEN to that lastpolarbear! (not that I'm religious).

Everyone now sees the military brass and their advisors as the source of evil in Fiji (the institution has either initiated or lent support to treasonous deeds since independence).

As I see it, should the military junta put this issue to a "free and independently monitored vote" next week, I have no doubt in my mind that the overwhelming majority, save for the usual suspects, would want to see an IMMEDIATE END to the military junta; a return to an interim civilian administration whilst national elections are organised ASAP, and after elections, a gradual disbandment of the RFMF (given the livelihoods of the rank and file at stake).

Let the people be "legitimately forced" to iron out whatever differences they might have "within a democratic and legitimate framework" without having to resort to guns, military thugs and sheer brutal force to get their own selfish ways… which of course is what LOSERS resort to! What a crying shame.

And these LOSERS you'll find, won't even show their faces around in town but will drive around in heavily tinted vehicles from one short block to the next. Shame! Shame! Shame!

How to avoid further coups in Fiji by Lastpolarbear

there are a couple of issues that need to be sorted out in order to avoid further coups.
1/ people should be educated about just what a democracy is.
2/ people who speak of sedition, should be arrested and dealt with immediately through the Courts.
3/ maybe the RFMF should be downsized to 500 as planned by the Qarase Government.
4/ a tactical response group should be established to deal with matters of National Security in Fiji.
5/ a coast guard should be established, in line with the recommendations of the Qarase government./ those guilty of Treason, should spend lengthy jail sentences to deter others.
6/ a special investigation unit should be established to ensure internal security and to counter threats against the State etc.
7/ people in fiji should learn to extract themselves from cultural allegiances which have the potential to course a conflict of interests etc.

Vuniwawa was finally convicted of MANSLAUGHTER and rcvd a sentence of 3 years imprisonment – for the assault and taking of a human life!

Mr. Qarase as stood his ground, the previous Vice President jone, is Intellectual and an honest man and there are many women who have proved their worth as well.
